Our Goal

Our goal is to extend the access of quality education to disadvantaged Nigerian children by providing scholarships and support for enrolment in specialised schools, ultimately aiming to ensure that every child has the opportunity to learn and grow regardless of financial constraints.

What we’ve achieved.

Amidst the stark reality that roughly 20 million Nigerian children are unable to attend school due to financial constraints within their families. However, through the collaborative efforts of The Nehemiah Team and the Gospel Missionary Church School, we’ve been able to make a meaningful impact. Over 50 deserving children, including those with disabilities, have been granted scholarships and are now back in the classroom, eager to learn and grow. Our commitment extends even further, with children enrolled in specialized schools such as the School of the Blind in Umuahia, Abia State, Nigeria. Join us in our mission to break barriers and provide educational opportunities for every child.

Challenges

Maintaining funding to sustain scholarships and educational initiatives poses a formidable long-term challenge, particularly when relying on donations or external backing. Also ensuring that children with disabilities have equal access to education  required ongoing efforts to adapt facilities, and provide specialized resources.
